so another project restarted...well or just started since I havent really done much before... anyway this could be series of short simple hand-drawn animes, or comics or just a bunch of illustrations that all fall into one world setting, I donno yet, I'll see how it goes

Diablo 3 Fanart - WIP

Finally I got down to do a fanart for THE diablo 3 ( I should've done this in 2006 for the blizzard annual art contest... wait, diablo 3 was not annouce then!) Anyway...it's kinda hard to compose a good illustration out from what has been revealed about the game so far (only two heros and a couple of bestiaries) So I just threw them all(or most) into the drawing without giving much thought, lol...I gave it abit thought about the location though, and I eventually decided to have this battle happen in the middle of the new tristram, with the Tristram Cathedral in the background, and dark night, thunderstorm and lightning...yep, that should do. : )

Environment thumbnails, tried to get the mood right for now...but still not confident with using colors, it seems I need to do more color studies.

Character 17 - Mermaid Suit WIP

Another character concept in progress for the dark lake project, it;s more about the suit instead of the character. So in my world setting, all those ppl are living underwater in the lake, they may have evolved to adopt the underwater life, but I don't really wanna go too far yet. (Technology still rules!) So with this kinda suits, it allows them to swim faster, breath underwater, and basically becomes a futuristic mermaid! Thanks to Mr Molnar for inspiring me : )

Just did 02 tonight, sunset on the sea (or sunrise? I donno)... tried not to use color picker when copying the photo ref (well, still picked some when I was too struggled to find the right color, it is very hard sometime for me XD), to really get a feel of the lighting and colors...
